Surf Camp Morocco 2026:
The Ultimate Wave Experience
Taghazout · Imsouane · Agadir — perfect waves, year-round sunshine, professional coaching
Morocco is one of the world’s most sought-after surf destinations — and it’s easy to see why. Consistent Atlantic swells, sunshine almost year-round, a rich and welcoming culture, and an unbeatable price-to-experience ratio. In 2026, ProSurfMorocco is back with a full season of surf camps designed for every level — complete beginners, intermediates looking to level up, and experienced surfers chasing clean barrels.
Why choose a surf camp in Morocco in 2026?
Morocco offers an exceptionally long surf window. Unlike northern Europe, Atlantic swells hit the southern Moroccan coastline almost all year, with optimal conditions between September and May. Spots like Taghazout, Anchor Point, Imsouane, and Killer Point rank among Africa’s finest waves — and they’re just minutes from our accommodation.
Out of the water, Morocco has even more to offer: evenings in a traditional riad, home-cooked tagines, excursions into the Sahara or along the Draa Gorges — a rare cultural and human adventure that goes far beyond the surf.
Our spots: Taghazout & Imsouane
Taghazout — Morocco’s surf capital
Once a quiet fishing village, Taghazout is now a world-famous surf hub with over ten quality breaks within 10 km. Hash Point and Panoramas are ideal for beginners; Anchor Point, with its long and powerful right-handers, is the go-to spot for advanced surfers. Our Taghazout base camp lets you hit 2 to 3 different breaks per day depending on conditions.
Imsouane — Morocco’s longest wave
Located 70 km north of Taghazout, Imsouane is home to one of the longest rights in the country — rides of up to 400 metres on a single wave. Perfect for intermediates working on their turns, the protected bay also has a mellow beach break for beginners. We offer day trips to Imsouane from our Taghazout camp, as well as a residential camp right on site.

Yes, a basic comfort level in the water is essential. You don’t need competitive swimming ability, but you should feel at ease in the ocean. Our instructors are always within sight and reach.
What’s the best time of year to come?
For beginners and intermediates, March–April and October–November offer the best conditions: consistent 1–2m swell, water around 20°C, and light winds. Advanced surfers tend to prefer January–March for the big swells at Anchor Point.
Is equipment included?
Yes, surfboards and wetsuits are included in all packages. You’re welcome to bring your own gear — we have secure board racks on site.
Is there an age limit?
